WEDSNEDAY, MARCH 15 - THURSDAY, MARCH 16. The American Hydrogen Forum will provide a platform for hydrogen industry stakeholders from the government, research, technology and service sectors to join a clean energy debate and collaborate in searching for sustainable hydrogen economy solutions.

The Forum will dive into the latest technological developments, ongoing and upcoming projects as well as market forecasts of the growing hydrogen sector. 

TUESDAY - FEBRUARY 7 - A green shipping corridor is more than a way to get from point A to B. It’s how an essential, hard-to-abate sector will start to decarbonize this decade.

Green shipping corridors allow ships to travel along their route with low-carbon energy, principally green hydrogen and its derivatives ammonia and methanol.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9 - Energy Futures Initiative unveils the results of our clean hydrogen market formation study, The U.S. Hydrogen Demand Action Plan, with keynote remarks from White House National Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi, and former U.S. Secretary Ernest Moniz. This EFI study culminates two years of EFI’s extensive study of hydrogen markets—including three regional workshops and a market study with input from hundreds of hydrogen thought leaders in industry, government, and academia.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3 AT 10:00AM CENTRAL. Hydrogen has great potential to play a major role in meeting international energy and climate goals. The International Energy Agency’s (IEA’s) Global Hydrogen Review 2022 provides data on hydrogen’s worldwide status and future prospects.

IEA Energy Technology Analyst Jose Miguel Bermudez Menéndez will share his perspective on hydrogen’s progress in infrastructure development, trade, policy, regulation, investments and innovation over the past year.

FEBRUARY 1 FROM 8:00AM TO 10:00AM - Jan Harnik, president of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), leads a discussion by a panel of experts on the challenges and opportunities in zero-emission transportation balanced with an integrated energy system. .

This virtual and in-person briefing kicks off the Leonard Transportation Center's 2023 Dialogue Series. The event is hosted by Omnitrans, and will included a brief tour of Omnitrans’ facility after the presentation.

JANUARY 31 FROM 5:00AM TO 6:00AM - Join the Hydrogen Council and the World Bank for a briefing about their recently released report, Sufficiency, Sustainability, and Circularity of Critical Materials for Clean Hydrogen, looking at the raw materials used in the hydrogen value chain, with a special focus on metals.
