CaFCP will take part in the 2014 California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) Fall Summit Wednesday, October 15 – Thursday, October 16 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Cal EPA Building, Sacramento, CA. During the two full days, the summit will focus on the progress, vision and recent announcements for hydrogen fueling stations and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. On Wednesday, October 15th CaFCP will host a test drive from 12:30pm – 1:45pm in front of the Cal EPA Building between 10th and “I” Street in Sacramento, CA.

CaFCP will join the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association for their annual Cruzin' for Roses Hot Rod and Classic Car Show.  We will have a Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell car on display at the northeast corner of Mission and Fremont with more than 400 cars, from hot rods to classics.
Come join the fun with exhibits, food, vendors, trophies, a raffle and more!

Latinas in STEM, SHPE South Bay Los Angeles and El Camino College have partnered in hosting STEM Night – a networking night for Los Angeles’s STEM non-profit organizations, businesses and professionals across all fields and occupations. STEM Night will take place September 25, 2014 at El Camino College’s newly renovated STEM Center. STEM Night will spotlight some of LA’s STEM non-profit organizations, businesses and the exciting programs and services being provided to contributions to developments in science, technology, engineering, math as well as the arts.

The US Department of Energy will present a live webinar titled “Introduction to SAESociety of Automotive Engineers Hydrogen Fueling Standardization” on Thursday, September 11, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The webinar will provide an overview of the SAE Standards SAE J2601 and J2799 and how they are applied to hydrogen fueling for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).

CaFCP will participate in the Torrance Environmental. We'll be on hand with a Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell and prepared to answer questions about fuel cell electric vehicles, hydrogen fueling stations and more. 
The event includes a car show, a variety of city vehicles and games and more for the entire family. 
The event is free and takes place at the city yard at 20500 Madrona Avenue. Parking is available at the Court House at 825 Maple.

Come by the CAFCP booth to learn about the recent fuel cell vehicle and hydrogen refueling station announcements. Attendees will have a chance to ride or drive in fuel cell electric vehicles from Mercedes, GM, Honda, Hyundai and Toyota.

CaFCP staff will take part in the annual League of  California Cities Conference and Expo, September 3-5, 2014, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The annual conference welcomes local elected officials, municipal staff and economic development agencies. CaFCP will have the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell on display and staff will be on hand to discuss the growing hydrogen fueling network in cities across California.

During the three-day workshop, staff will discuss and review CaFCP’s ER training materials and the National ER Training Program that is set to be released in 2015. A Honda FCX Clarity will be on display and CaFCP staff will talk about the expansion of they hydrogen fueling station network in California.

CaFCP will be on hand with a fuel cell electric vehicle for the annual multi-chamber business expo sponsored by the Brillbane, Foster City, Millbrae, Pacifica, Redwood City, San Bruno, San Mateo and South Francisco chambers of commerce. Admission is free.  
Hydrogen fueling stations are expected to open in 2014 and 2015 in four of these cities, and the expo is a great opportunity to learn more about what's coming to the area.
