CaFCP will have a fuel cell electric vehicle at the Woodside/Portola Valley's Earth Day Fair. This year's event will have educational and interactive activities throughout the day. Exhibitors will have engaging activities for attendees to promote sustainability and what Woodside and Portola Valley residents can do to live more sustainable. In response to climate change and the need to reduce carbon emissions, this year's theme will be focused on reducing our carbon footprint.
The event is free to the public.

The Energy Department's Fuel Cell Technologies Office (FCTO) announces the launch of a new, free, online national hydrogen safety training resource for emergency responders. Developed by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the California Fuel Cell Partnership, the resource provides a single repository of credible and reliable information related to hydrogen and fuel cells that is current and accurate and eliminates duplicative efforts among various training programs.

The conference brings together universities, industries, R&D laboratories and government agencies to facilitate communication and collaboration among academia and industry.

Come and join the California Fuel Cell Partnership from 8:00am - 12:00pm in the 2015 Eighth Annual Cal/EPA Earth Day and Bring your Children to Work Event. CaFCP will be on hand to talk about fuel cell electric vehicles. As part of CaFCP's exhibit, California Air Resources Board employees and their children will learn ways to recycle, save energy and learn about alternative fuel vehicles. CaFCP staff will have a Honda FCX Clarity on static display.

CaFCP will be on hand with a Hyundai Tucson fuel cell car for the annual Sustainable Quality Award which recognizes Santa Monica businesses that have successfully incorporated sustainable practices into their operations. The SQA has recognized more than 125 businesses since the program launched in 1995.
Noted "organic" architect Eric Corey Freed will keynote the awards.
